Ode to Friendz??? maybe...

The more i look back on all those happy times,
The easier it is for me to realize,
That friends are more than just hello's and goodbye's,
It all comes down to what you share with eachother...

Yup, some were good singers and some others, athletic,
But that aint a matter at all !
All that is important is the feeling inside,
The bond of closeness that makes you feel loved!

For me to sit & say "I won't miss this old place...",
Is wrong and untrue,
All the friends and teachers meant so much to me,
I dunno any other place i would rather be!!

"Those were the days!", i've heard my parents say,
Cherish these years spent together each n' evey day,
The people you'll meet and the places you'll go,
And the hurt once that's gone is more than what you'll know...

All our friends will be leaving and we'll all be elsewhere,
All the friends i'll be losing is my greatest fear.
Promise is what we make when we part ways,
To never forget eachother and that we'll be back to see eachother someday!!
